W.E. "Rusty" Shankle founded the agency in 1956 after many years as a local builder and developer. His son, Greg, took the reins in 1963 following graduation from UC Berkeley with a degree in Business (field of emphasis in real estate). A former president of the Monterey Board of Realtors, Greg has also been active in local and state real estate organizations and in a number of civic and community groups, as are most of the agents in our firm.

Today

Greg's son Stuart joined the business in 2000 after several years as a loan consultant with Home Savings and Washington Mutual. Greg retired in 2003 and turned the business over to Stuart, a third generation Broker. Greg remains a trusted advisor as well as a consultant.

We serve all areas of the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas. And as a member of All Points Relocation Service, we're part of a 500-member national network, and can offer you pre-move information.
